ROWALLAN NATIONAL SCOUTS CAMP

ESCAPE, COME, ENJOY SERENITY AND BREATH SOME FRESH AIR WITH US!
The Kenya Scouts Association Headquaters is located in Rowallan National Scouts camp.

The Camp comprises 90 acres of natural bushland. It is located adjacent to the Ngong Forest, Kibera drive/Jamhuri Road, Off Ngong Road 9 KM (4.5) Western side of the Capital, Nairobi. It is 15 Minutes drive from town and approximately 30 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, which is the main Airport in the City. The Ngong Forest is the only indigenous forest in the world that is located right within the confines of a capital city.The property is home to an abundance of native flora and fauna.

Rowallan camp provides the perfect, tranquil, natural setting for your activities, complete with everything you need – from the serene quiet setting of a campsite deep in the woods to the basic facilities. Indoor accommodation (Bandas and Troop Rooms) & Outdoor camping for a wide variety of interest groups.

The camp is ideal for School camps, Scouting, Guiding, family groups, church, music & drama groups. Rowallan is also an ideal location for Sports, Fellowships, Picnics, seminars and conferences. We have hosted many expeditions, retreats, birthday parties, re-unions and even weddings.

OUTDOOR ACCOMMODATION - REQUIREMENTS
1. Campers need to bring their own camping/ sporting/ swimming/ hiking gear

2. Campers are encouraged to bring their own pioneering and construction equipment and make use of the natural bush for these activities

1. Fires must not be left alight and unattended. Fires must always be extinguished

2. A copy of the camp rules and tariffs are available in the camp office and will be supplied on arrival/request.

Rowallan is Safe and Secure; a team of security personel patrols the camp to ensure that our guests are well protected. Rowallan is aDRUG FREE ZONE: Pets, motorbikes, chainsaws, firearms, alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited.
